Nearly half a century, men’s living and developing environment is threatened by the worse and worse ecological environment. And this actually pressures men to review the relationship between ourselves and the natural environment. Among the theories about the nature, because of the scientific advancement and strongly reality, Marx’s concept of nature has attracted more and more concern. Nowadays, study on Marx’s concept of natural is just unfolding.This thesis regards the historical evolution of traditional nature views as the starting point, it then hackles and interprets the representative natural views of every previous stage. On the basic of criticizing and sublating the traditional natural views, Marx’s specific concept of nature was formed. Then this thesis makes the further analysis on the progressive ideas of Marx’s concept of nature and the courses of developing and perfecting. This job reveals the theoretical guidance meaning and practical valve that Marx’concept of nature gives us.This thesis consists of four chapters.The first chapter, the exordium, mainly describes the research methods and objective of this thesis. It hackles logically the period from the traditional natural concepts to the development and formation of Marx’s concept of nature, it also shows the writing route of the thesis.The second chapter:western traditional natural views. From the mythological natural view of human barbarism times to the ancient organically holistic ontology natural view, then to Medieval religious theological natural view, Renaissant mechanistic natural view, and to the modern speculative idealism natural view. With the clue to the history, this thesis gives an overall and systematic summary of the representative natural views and ideological premise of every typical period.The third chapter:the development and formation of Marx’s concept of nature. This chapter researches on the way that Marx’s concept of nature was formed. It also introduce the different thought during a certain period of time. Marx started with the criticize of traditional natural views. The fundamental understanding that nature is the first exist seems to be the prime sprout of Marx’s concept of nature. Marx’s concept of nature criticized both the idealistic viewpoint towards nature of Hegal and old materialistic viewpoint towards nature of Feuerbach, and this movement was the sign that Marx’concept was formed. In the later years of Marx, he further lead the theories of political economy such as "plus value" to his concept. This promoted his natural view and the theory of the relationship between human beings and nature. The fourth chapter:the realistic rendering of Marx’s concept of nature. According to the research on the connotation and the operation significance of Marx’concept of nature, the thesis makes a further expound of the progress and feasibility which Marx’s concept of nature reflects. With unscrambling the theory of the relationship between human beings and nature, this thesis definitely shows the signification to deal with the relationship between human beings and nature no matter in which period of time. It is also the important theoretical support on sustainable development.The fifth chapter:conclusion. In this chapter, the author explain the method of study. According to the historical development, the author analyze vertically both the former traditional natural views and the formation of Marx’s concept of nature, then put the theoretical guidance meaning and practical valve on the practical analyze of Marx’s concept of nature.
