Under the guidance of scientific concept ofdevelopment and the socialist rule of law, the concept of China’s legal construction has made greatachievements, and the initial establishment of the socialist legal system with Chinese characteristics, andthrough all aspects of the common struggle, the corruption has been effectively curbed. But at the sametime made certain achievements, we should also see grass-roots village official corruption corruption inrecent years showing a growing trend, the village official corruption has become the important constraintsof grassroots democracy.The village officials have become increasingly prominent issue of corruption, has aroused widespreadconcern. Corruption will certainly pay a high social cost, resulting in waste of resources, and will distortand corrosion of people’s worldview, values, devoid of a sense of justice, morality, diligence, kindness andhuman social virtues and thus make social cohesion decreased. Corruption also affect economicdevelopment, and direct damage to the party and, between cadres and masses, destroy the mass base of theparty and the government, and even affect the social and political stability. So, how to contain the villageofficial corruption, it is not only related to the vital interests of the broad masses of peasants, party andgovernment policy approach in rural areas to the smooth implementation of a new socialist countrysideconstruction and building a harmonious society has a very important practical significance.In this paper, the discussion of the status and characteristics of China’s Village in the new era ofcorruption, further analysis of the main objectivity of the root causes of the problem of corruption in avillage official. Objectivity of the root causes of both institutional and inadequate, there are defects in themechanism, the subjectivity of the root is the Village’s own quality problems. This article focuses on theestablishment of the punishment and prevention system, lead to the objective and subjective causes of therural village official corruption, fully taking into account the special circumstances of rural areas, andtargeted policy responses. This article think that should be under the guidance of people-centered concept, from both internal and external policy-making: a prerequisite for the government through theestablishment of a sound protection mechanism, improve the supervision mechanism to improve theselection system to create a favorable institutional environment for the Village improving the quality of;intrinsic based on village officials to actively improve their own quality, to strengthen the moral character,and improve the ability to work. Various efforts to enable the Village truly exemplary vanguard ofbuilding a new socialist countryside, to become the solid backing of the broad masses of peasants.
