China’s Rural Electoral Participation Problem Research

In our country, agriculture is the foundation of national economy, and the farmer is occupied about2/3of the total population, accordingly, the sociological research direction-social problems in China, should be based on the Chinese farmer problem as the research starting point and foothold. The basic situation of China’s peasants accounted for the vast majority of the total population, accordingly, also can say, rural economic and social development will have on China’s economic and social development plays an important role in promoting. Rural electoral participation in China will be the election produces immediate effect, but also to promote our country various electoral democracy plays a role can not be ignored. Society of our country economy whether gain materiality headway, election could be more thorough common feelings of people, to a large extent depends on rural elections could obtain the masses of the support and recognition, want to see farmer elected to participate in the degree and level of.In the current implementation of the national general election of villagers’ committee, farmer to exhibit a high degree of enthusiasm. According to the Ministry of civil affairs of the incomplete statistics, farmers around the voting rate is in commonly80%above. But the voting process has many problems, such as bribery, clan, the villages and towns government intervention such as the intervention. This paper taking L County of Jilin Province B village farmer electoral participation status as a case, applying the sociological theory, uses the questionnaire analysis, case interviews and literature research methods, through in-depth field on B village of face-to-face communication and understanding, by combining qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis method. The survey research to typical investigation methods, combining talk and questionnaire survey, in order to reflect the real situation of investigators, interpretation in Current Villagers’autonomy in the context of our farmers to participate in the elections which features, and on the basis of in-depth study of farmer of current our country to participate in the elections level which causes uneven, further research to promote a farmer to participate in the elections of the countermeasure and train of thought.
