Two villages, Y and H are located in remote mountain area in Guangxi. The village Y as an obviously democratic case, elections are increasingly competitive and positive. On the other hand, village H, a lack of dynamism in the elections is typical of the mountain area, is mainly reflected in ineffective organization and villagers are not caring about the elections. Based on the investigation of elections in Y and H, finding out the correlation between electoral cycle amd results, the commonalities and individualities. Finally, this article gives some reference. The paper describes the process of election in Y,H, giving a detailed comparisons on preparation, implementation and consequence. This article argues that the differences between Y and H are due to the natural environment, economic level, government intervention, religion power, civil awarenness etc. A subtle distinction or variation of natural conditions have leaded into the different lifestyles, which would be different political trends. Morover, gaps in economy is the basic reason on resulting, simply because democracy can only be developed by guatanteed life. At the same time, deeply depandence on government and religion fighting can subtly influence the election. As may be gathered from that, the stratification of villagers' consciousness determines different focuses and motivation.
