The Review Of Labica’s Ecological Socialism Thought

Labica is the representative figure of the third generation of ecological socialism, his ecological socialism though has some features:the belief to Marxism, the agreement to human centralism and scientific socialism. About the body to implement the ecological socialism, he no longer depended on the new social movement, but on the workers’ movement. Labica believed that ecological socialism marked that the workers’ movement has entered a new stage, namely "the movement of cultural revolution stage". He thought that the way to realize ecological socialism is the cultural revolution, and he analysed the cultural revolution, the relationship between revolution and democracy deeply.Although the domestic scholars which research ecological socialism deem that Labica is the representative figure of the third generation of ecological socialism, there isn’t any works which comment on his ecological socialism thought systematically by now. This paper intends to review on Labica’s ecological socialism thought comprehensively and systematically. I hope that this paper can help domestic academic circles have a better understanding about the internal logic and the basic method of Labica’s ecological socialism thought. Meanwhile China has regarded ecological civilization as one of the targets of building socialism with Chinese characteristics, and Labica’s ecological socialism thought can provide some reference to the construction of ecological civilization in China.
