With the introduction of “Food Safety Law of the People’s Republic of China” in2009, food safety has become a topic of widespread concern; the news media gatheredthe vision at a variety of food safety issues. However, the promulgation of the law, thefrequent exposure of the television media, did not make the safety of food eventsdisappeared. Although “Lean meat powder” has not passed,“Tainted steamed buns”,“Soybean milk problem" appearing one after another. People can not help to worryabout the increasingly lack of protection in food safety today, what else shall we eat?Food safety issues occur continually. What actually has the food safety supervisionmissed?As a result, this paper tries to analyze the reasons for the lack of supervision offood safety through a few of the recent food safety incidents. By learning from abroadlaws and policies which to ensure food safety, combined with China’s actual conditions,to suggest a few measures to improve the lack of food safety supervision.
