On The Government Responsibility Of China’s Folk Culture Inheritance And Development

As an important part of Chinese traditional culture, folk culture is a historical witness of the history of5,000years of civilization and culture carrier, it contains a unique artistic charm of great cultural value and economic value of China’s cultural and it has great influence on economic and cultural development this is why our governments should perform their duties and to give due attention and protection at all levels. In recent years, because of the strong impact of globalization, folk culture is facing serious challenges, all levels of government try to protect folk culture, but there are still many problems in the organization and leadership, financial investment, propaganda and folk culture market environment, folk culture heritage of personnel training, etc. they result in that the folk culture is not so competitive, some even face of the risk of decline. Therefore, how the inheritance and development of folk culture is an important issue that must be addressed in the cultural construction for all levels of government.This paper analyzes of the meaning and characteristics of folk culture, describes the significance of the heritage and development of folk culture, explores the relationship between the inheritance and development of folk culture and government responsibility, and provides so specific methods for the Government to protect folk culture on the basis of my research on current situation. I hope this article can help to remind the whole society to attach importance to the folk culture and create an atmosphere of continuous improvement in the society.and then better folk culture protection mechanisms, and at last lead to cultural development.
