The thesis mainly consists of five chapters:The first chapter is an introduction. This part states such contents as thesignificance of the topic of this thesis, the purpose of research, academic researchstatus and so on. The particularity and complexity of the social background of theNanjing National Government from1927to1937are narrated. Especially, the relatedacademicb works and papers are introduced in details one by one.The second part is the first chapter. In this chapter,the development of threemain means-newspapers, news agencies and broadcasting of the communication ofthe NNG in the first decade are revealed according to the geographical distributionand the media attribution. In macroscopic perspective, to get know the features of thedevelopment of press career can have a better grasp of the press legal system.The third part is the second chapter. In this chapter, the chapter discusses theguiding ideology and policy of NNG as well as the implement and contents changesof three versions of press laws as the core of its legal system in the decade. thelegislative history and content of change. Such as the reaction of the public after thepublication of the press law and the reconsideration incident occurred in theLegislative institution are emphasized through a series of archives.The fourth part is the third chapter. In this chapter,in the perspective of the ruleof press law, the current relation between press freedom and press restrictions is getknown by introducing various measures of press censorship, press control cases and all walks of life to fight for the freedom of the press in this part.The final part is the conclusion of this paper. It concludes that press freedom,as one of the guarantees of contemporary social democracy and stability, has afar-reaching effect on the entire society.
