Theory Of Ecological Socialism And Its Enlightenment To Changzhutan Two Type Society Construction

Eco-socialism, originating from Green Movement brought out in the Western world in1960s, is the positive response to the increasing man-nature confliction in the Western world and the outcome of the penetration of mutual influence and interaction between Green Movement and Socialist Movement. Confronting to the increasingly severe reality of environmental pollution, resource shortage and ecological imbalance, the eco-socialism takes the man-nature relationship as the theoretical perspective and Marxist methodology as foundation, guided by the inspiration of ecology, system theory and futurology, ecology efficiency as the core value, harmony of human and nature as the demanding goal, comprehensive consideration of human economic, political and other activities, to develop the new vision of understanding and thinking capitalism and socialism. With the combination of Green Movement and Socialist Movement, this thesis explores a new way of controlling and preventing environmental pollution, conserving natural resources, maintaining ecological balance and realizing eco-socialism beyond the capitalist system and the traditional socialist system.In the process of constructing the socialist modernization with Chinese characteristics, China is facing the problem of natural environment constraining the development of economy and society. The problems of how to deal with the man-nature relationship, how to coordinate the relationship of material civilization and spiritual civilization, political civilization and ecological civilization, how to realize the organic unity of science and technology advancement, social productivity development and the ecological protection of natural environment, are still testing socialist China.Many theoretical advocacies and social practices of eco-socialism have enriched and developed the sustainable development theory. They will provide the Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan City Cluster, one of the first National Synthetically Reform Testing Districts of Constructing Two-type Society, with the important enlightenments which are man-nature harmonious coexistence and scientifically reasonable development strategies.
