At present, China is in a period of social transition, and one of the major problem in which period is the frequent occurrence of public crisis. Such as the Earthquake of Wenchuan, the Influenza A (H1N1) events and the powder incident of Sanlu milk which gave a serious impact of Chinese economic construction and social stability, and more important, which provided difficult challenges to the crisis management of Chinese government. Crisis information management throughout the whole process of the public crisis management, and according different stages of the case, the requirements of information content are also different. After entering the21st century, with the rapid development of network technology and3G communication technology, especially with the virtual communities in the network is playing more and more important role in our life,which meaning of faster of propagating information, more diversify of information content, more complex means of communication, and more subtle of communication channels, which put a higher demand on the crisis information management of government. More important, public crisis information management can reduce the extent of the damage of the crisis, there by enhancing the efficiency of crisis management, and enhancing the credibility of the government.This article mainly investigates on information management in government public crisis management. Firstly, described the main topic and significance of the article, and then through to define and analysis the relevant concepts plus the literature review of domestic and international research status and case illustrates, aimed to investigates present situation of Chinese government crisis information management and discuss the existing problems of the public crisis information management in our government. Secondly article analyzed the cause of the problem of our government crisis information management from several aspects, and proposed to strengthen public crisis management of our government, as well as to provide a reference for the government to improve public service functions and improve the level of crisis management.
