The Research On Management Issues Of Uninhabited Islands In China Based On Ecosystem Management

China is one of the countries that the number of island is large, of which94%areuninhabited islands. Uninhabited island in China has became the new growth point inmarine programs depends on its comprehensive value, it plays an irreplaceable role indevelopment of marine economic and social in the future. Using resources ofuninhabited island in scientific and rational way has far-reaching significance ondevelopment and management of uninhabited island. However, due to the late start ofChina’s uninhabited islands research and the lack of management and practicalexperience about uninhabited island, the situation of uninhabited island is disorder andexcessive and ecological environment has been damaged. How to protect the ecosystemof uninhabited islands, use the natural resources of islands in scientific and rational wayare important issues that are urgently to be solved in China’s ocean strategy.This article is based on the theory of ecological system management and the object ofstudy is ecological protection of uninhabited island. From the status of uninhabitedisland development and protection in China, comprehensive collect relevant policydocuments and statistical data, analyze the main problems existing in the developmentof uninhabited island. From the perspective of core ideals of ecological systemmanagement, provide concrete measures in order to achieve effective using andscientific management of uninhabited island.The first part is the introduction that achievements of uninhabited island at home andabroad. Secondly, expounds the main factorsthat constraint the development of uninhabited island. Last, analyzes a range of issuesexist in the development of uninhabited island. The fifth part is to provide managementmeasures for uninhabited island based on the theory of ecological system management,including deepening protection consciousness, improving the regulations and institution,changing management system and build a new management system for uninhabitedisland with the theory of ecosystem management.
