The Analysis On The Survival Strategy Of NGO Serves For Northwest Muslim Collection Areas

As a matter of fact, the multi—factors combined with history, region andtraditional culture, the social economy development in the Northwest of China hasbeen evidently distinction with Middle and Eastern regions in China in terms of thisfield. Since the policy of “Great Development in the West” and other relativemeasures were put forward for decade, there is no denying that the economicdevelopment in Northwest has been improved at large. However, the feature thatsocial development lags behind economy is still rather obvious, which has been abottleneck to economic development. As it is known to all, the minority has been awidely distribution and they are bound and impacted on many traditional concepts,which is quite evident in the terms of gap with mainstream national group during thesocial development process.As an important support in the field of social public, NGO has been a coordinatoron interest relationships among various social subjects in the social transformationperiod. To achieve the effective expression of social interests through anorganizational way is a rational choice when individual has to face with a diversitysocial constitution. In this way, the survival and development on NGO has been fit forthis trend. The minority in Northwest is universally inferior to mainstream group inthe degree of receiving education, so how to promote sustain development of theminority as a whole is a significant point to the NGOs serving for this region.The article is to adapt field study involving sociological research method. Thequalitative research method including the non—structural interviews, participatoryobservation, and multitude case analysis（group case study）will be adapted in theprocess of material collection and analysis. The research will plan to pick up sometypical NGOs on serving for minority group in Gansu province as the subjects of casestudy. It will investigate these NGOs some important aspects as follows: How to gainresources to achieve organizational target and maintain organization survival in thepractical operation process was investigated.Based on possessing and summarizing a lot of empirical materials, the article is trying to make a conclusion on the survival strategy system of NGOs serving forpublic welfare in this region. The logic system has specific three levels includingstrategic features and measures, reasons for strategic features and survival mode. Atthe same time, it will take on the survival strategic features of the NGOs serving forMuslim minority group, which is concerned with some key factors about survivalstrategy formation in organization, such as organizational operation, resourceachievement, relationships construction and system environment.The paper argues that the majority influence factors on survival strategy ofNGOs serving for regional minority group derives from the unbalanced supplying anddemanding system resulting from objective differences on the degree of socialeconomy development. Apart from it, combined actions from nationality and religioustraits is another no negligent factor which has a deepen influence on these NGOs’survival strategy formation. Under the specially institutional circumstance, the NGOserving for the northwest muslin minority is forming an organizationally strategicmodel，which is “unbalanced” depended on the normally institutional system.
