For a long time, food safety has been of particular concern to the people at home and abroad. As the saying goes:the country people-oriented, Food. Food safety is related to the national economy and the big things that must be carefully treated. However, in recent years, we continue to see and hear some of the food safety incidents, resulting in huge economic losses, and even casualties. This had enabled us once again look at the current domestic food safety system, concerned about the safety of our daily diet.Since reform and opening, through a series of legal system, China has established a set of their own food safety laws and regulations. Include the "Product Quality Law,""Republic of China Agricultural Product Quality Safety","Republic of China Import and Export Commodity Inspection Law","Entry and Exit Animal and Plant Quarantine of the PRC", and other laws, in addition to a series of administrative regulations adopted by the State Council, and the powers of departmental rules and regulations by department, which together constitute our current food safety protection system.In recent years, as people’s living standards improve, people are generally a higher food safety requirements and to produce a sustained attention. However, we often hear about food safety incidents, such as:"Sanlu poisonous milk powder incident,""carcinogenic Mengniu milk powder incident," and so on, These events continue to warn the people to examine the current food safety issues, not only to improve the food safety laws, regulations, and more strict enforcement of the law, the theoretical and practical good combination.This article is divided into four chapters, the first chapter of the food safety problem of our country are introduced, pointing out the importance of food safety and hazards; the second chapter on China’s food safety hazards and social roots system root, regulatory mechanism of chaos is analyzed; the third chapter will focus to abroad, reference the United States, the European Union, Japan and other countries and regions of the food safety protection system; the fourth chapter, through to the domestic research and understanding, the relevant foreign protection system for reference, this article on China’s food safety legislation and supervision system are proposed, including the licensing system suggestions on supervision system, perfect the suggestions and the food recall system is proposed.This paper hopes on China’s food safety system analysis and research, to solve the existing problems of food security. Through legislation, build perfect food safety system; strengthening law enforcement and supervision, legal theory and practical application of the combination, so as to fundamentally ensure people’s food security.
