Our country has been actively involved in the economic system reform. With thedevelopment of market economy, the number of private enterprise is rapidly increasing.Labor relations become increasingly elaborate, the economic contractions that have beencovered for a long time appear gradually, which lead to the rapid surge in labor dispute.Labor disputes are unavoidable, although they are non-confrontation contradictions, ifhandled improper, it will have a negative impact on employees, enterprises and societyand will be not conducive to construct harmonious society. The surge in labor disputeproposes severe challenges to the mechanism of labor disputes resolutio n. Meditation,known as the first line of settling labor disputes, because of its problems and defects, cannot play an effective role, which cause lots of labor dispute cases into arbitration andlitigation. So based on the analysis and understanding of defects of meditation, we shouldrethink profoundly and reform the meditation. Our country is building a harmonioussociety. Against this background, social work, as a major solving social issues andpromoting social development, plays a significant part in helping social vulnerable groupand maintain social fairness and justice. Social work in enterprise is an important branchof social work and a new practice field, aiming to help employees relieving labordisputes, maintaining staff rights, stimulating labor’s enthusiasm, having a function ofeliminating contradictions, improving employee welfare and production efficiency.Based on this, the author practice at a enterprise social work project team since8,2011to10,2011at Shenzhen, Guangdong. During this period, the author collected sometypical cases. These cases discuss the skills, values, role definition of the social work inenterprise in participating in meditation. The author tries to accumulate practical materialof social work in enterprise, and explain that social work in enterprise can effectivelyresolve labor disputes, cover the shortage of the existing meditation, form a complementary relationship with the existing meditation, so as to reduce social issuesand promote social development.
