With the constant development of our economy,the labor system is innovating accordingly,and so does the working environment,which has become very comp-lex.These objective reasons directly lead to a great pressure felt on the shoulder of company employees,and intensify the conflict between the workers and the p-ayers.As a result the labor disputes are on the increase rapidly.With the number of labor disputes rising year by year,the pressure on arbitra-tors to hear labor disputes has increased.In the process of closing the case,the a-rbitrators should not only pay attention to those direct responsibilities,such as pra-cticeing the justice and efficiency,but also need to be mindful to resolve disputes and maintain the stable social employment environment.However,there is still a s-evere issue of case abuse and high rate of appealing cases caused by unsatisfactor-y on the judgment.Social workers can better solve these problems when provideng professional services,they can also play multiple roles in a labor dispute arbitrati-on institution.To be specific,they are not only the facilitators in an arbitration ins titution,but also coordinators for the clients,at the same time,they can also be p-roviders of labor and capital.More importantly,social workers can also be the ad-vocates of maintaining stable social employment environment.As a result,a bold yet creative attempt to introduce social worker services into the labor dispute arbit-ration was tried out and tested.In order to analysis the ways to introduce social worker services into the lab-or dispute arbitration,the author has been conducting a field research in Dalian Jin Pu New District Labor and Personnel Disputes Court.This research applies multi-ple principles and methods,such as literature analysis,case interview method,case analysis method,participatory observation method.In the process,it was revealed of the existing obstacles and current solutions of the arbitration institutions in Chi-na,as well as the evaluation on the effectiveness of the solution.This research al-so analyzes the various roles and functions of social workers in the arbitration ins-titutions of labor and personnel disputes.Later on,it evaluates the possibility of e-mbedding the basic procedures of social working into process of labor trials.As a conclusion,the arbitration hearing and basic social work processes can be joined with each other closely,which can greatly improve the efficiency and quality of t-he arbitration case.However,during the research process,the author finds that the social work is still at the beginning stage in China.It requires an acceptance and cooperation am-ong government,companies,and employees in order for a truly combined idea that connects advanced principles and reality practices and to maximize the advantage of introdueing social workers into labor personnel dispute arbitration system.As a positive result,it will facilitate the cooperation and development on both sides of labor personnel arbitration institutions and social work facilities.
