Mao Zedong’s Exploration About China Industrialization Road And Practical Value

The industrialization is a development phase which any country must experience from agricultural country to an industrialized one. In the mid-1950’s,breaking through the restraint of Soviet industrialized pattern and combing the realities of socialist building in our country, Mao Zedong put forward the thought of socialist industrialization with Chinese characteristics.From the state of China, Mao Zedong chose the industrialization road which has priority to develop the heavy industry under the planned economic system to make our country which is an nothing-have country construct an industrial system which have some scale and kinds of department, and establish the solid foundation for the development of industrialization in China.At present, China is in the middle Stage of industrialization, so modernization and industrialization of arduous historical task is still the subject of this century. Many new problems and challenges will be increased in the implementation of new strategies in the process of new type of industrialization. So, the thought also laid a firm foundation for the Deng Xiaoping’s theory of building a Chinese socialism and the aim to build an all-out well-off society by way of building new industrialization in new period.Making thorough study of Mao Zedong’s thought of socialist industrialization with Chinese characteristics will be of great historical and realistic meaning in guiding our country’s building of Socialist modernization.
