Human thinking and pursuing the theory of justice has already appeard in the earlyphilosophy. In the field of modern philosophy, referring to the theory of justice, we mustmentioned John Rawls. Rawls as a famous American philosopher and ethicist,has agreat influence in the Western academic although there is not a lot of theory works. Thetheory of justice elaborated in his book “A Theory of justice”,made him the mostrepresentative figures of the modern theory of justice. Rawls focus on social justiceissues, his goal is to build an ideal theory of justice. His theory that draws on the basisof the traditional social contract theory critique of utilitarianism theory. Rawls is not infavor of utilitarianism, but utilitarianism once is the Rawls’s most want to ponderdeeply theory and with the most reasonable form an important moral position tointerpretation. After attempting to correct and improve the efforts of the utilitarianismtheory fails, Rawls began to focus on to build his own theory of justice. Based on thedifferent understanding and definition of "justice", Rawls tries to criticize theutilitarianism concept of justice,and establish a truly fair and useful social systems toall the people.Nowdays, Rawls and utilitarianism has not stopped the debate on justice issues,this issue still has important research value,so,this paper will commence the Rawls’scritical point of view of the utilitarianism, reaserch of Rawls’ theory of justice.
