Marriage as an important means to maintain kinship relations and safeguard therule of order, stability, social order, by the Tang Dynasty rulers attached greatimportance to increase the readjustment of the marital relationship through legislativemeans. Prohibited conditions established in the marriage, the Tang Dynasty, the lawhas many restrictions involving identity, behavior, and time. Only the identity of therestrictions, have the same surname not to marry, relatives not to marry, not to marryalien, officials and the public not to marry, wife not to marry, monks and nuns not tomarry. Their legislation showing the ceremony Both by Law and ethics, emphasizingthe identity level, and maintain sexist, strengthening state intervention.Tang Dynasty about marriage ban on the conditions and regulations, and ingeneral can be observed, but for various reasons, the actual social life there are someagainst the marriage ban of conditions. The marriage of the Tang Dynasty set up thelegislation of the restrictions on future generations of the marriage system has acertain significance. Legislative scrutiny on the establishment of the Tang Dynastymarriage restrictions, to help our science to build a contemporary marriage law,family harmony, then rule countries.
