American democratic system has always been considering as the Western democracy“model”, and it continually attempts to carry it out throughout the world. However, what isthe origin of American democratic system? And what are the fundamental nation conditionsof its formation and existence? With this kind of questions in mind, this article attemptingfrom the establishment of colony, and analyzing the function of following aspects that favorsthe fulfillment of democratic system at that point of time, such as societal geographicconditions, fundamental thoughts, material conditions, and political foundation, and so on. Itproves the national condition of America democracy, and in order to find out the specialrelationship between American democracy and its fundamental national conditions.The full text starts by introducing what implement conditions of democratic system are,and analyzing the relationship between democratic system and its fundamental conditions,which includes four main parts:First part, starting from geography of America, it provides a perfect societal historyenvironment for democratic system. The North America continent, east to Atlantic Ocean,west to Pacific Ocean, north to Canada, and south to Mexico, which is not only the naturedefense, but also the national defense.Second part, it focuses on British and French enlightenment thoughts and Americanreligious tradition, which provide a cultural support for democratic system. Enlightenmentthoughts have a huge impact on U.S. political culture, especially human rights and separationof the executive, legislative and judicial powers. From its origin, in the early days of Americawas a genuine religious country, and majority of immigrants who came on the first shipmentwere Puritan, therefore, religion had a huge influence on America from the very beginning.Third part, the main focus is on American commodity economy, which provides materialconditions for the democratic system. From this aspect, it enables us to look at the basiccourse of formation of a capitalism relation of production and establishment of the democraticsystem. During the achievement of petty bourgeoisie’s private property right, industry andcommerce steadily grow to be mature, which cultivates a profound economic foundation forthe capitalist class to get on the arena of history.Fourth part, with exploring American practice of politics, which provides a solid politicalfoundation for a democratic system that has been creatively practiced The Americandemocracy system does not duplicate the basic democracy theory from British or French;instead, it is a democratic creative renovation, which fits right into the national conditions. Ittransits from the primary thoughts of Articles of Confederation to the separation powers and checks and balance of the1787Constitution. American democracy truly possesses its ownAmerican characteristics.In conclusion any democracy is the product of its own specific national conditions, aswell as America. Democracy does not mean that one fits all. China should adhere to the roadto “Chinese characteristics”.
