The Construction Of American Think Tank And Its Inspiration To Develop Think Tank In China

Think tank, mainly refers to the research of public policy to influence government decision-making and improve policy-making as the goal, third-party independent of the Government’s non-profit research institutions. In the Western countries, especially the Unites Stats, think tanks, as a relatively stable, independent of the government decision-making mechanism of the "brain", extensive participation of relevant national economic and social development and international strategic competition of major public policy research and consulting services, government decision-making in the promotion of scientific and healthy development of economy and society play a crucial role. The development of our think tank started late, but in recent several years, as China’s government at all levels of public policy decision of scientific and democratization process accelerated continuously, the construction and research of the think tanks have made considerable progress. Particularly, the report of the Seventeenth Party Congress put forward the decision role of Philosophy social science for the first time and written into the Party Congress report, the word "think tank" began to appear frequently in various newspapers and media, China is entering a think-tank big development historical era.To the discussion of think-tank problem, this paper is engaged in analysis of American think tanks to describe the current development status of our country and the problems encountered for the relevant solutions and propose measures related to these parts to compare the depth of the problem of the system.This paper can be divided into four parts:The first part is an introduction.
