Microblog made scientific and technological means and civic participation needsmeet by chance at the moment of the explosive development of new media, showinggratifying scenery. Citizens, especially the grassroots, involving in public affairs,highlighting social justice, expressing demands, supervising governments’actions, havebecome an irreversible trend. Microblog has played an indispensable role in theinteraction of the officials and people since2011. On the one hand, it is conducive torespond to citizens’ concerns and resolve social conflicts, achieving the citizens’ rightto know, the right to participate, the right to express and the right to supervise; On theother hand, it is critical to harken the views of the disadvantaged, urging thegovernment to control political power in accordance with science, democracy and law.However, as a means of social networking, Microblog has commercial and entertainment properties, which mean that microblogging in politics have its naturalflaws. This article focuses on the mechanisms of how the government should cope withmicroblogging in politics.In this paper, the preface introduces the background, significance, research statusat home and abroad, research methods. The first chapter introduces the relatedconcepts, Including the concept of microblogging in politics, the comparison of thenetwork in politics and microblogging in politics. The analysis of related concepts laysa foundation for further research. The second chapter describes the type ofmicroblogging in politics and realistic significance respectively. The third chapteranalyses the problems existing in microblogging in politics, including the inherentdefects, the inefficiency of response to microblogging in politics and the disorder ofrealization of microblogging in politics. The fourth chapter explores how thegovernment should improve the microblogging in politics.Through the research, I expect the knowledge to the practical significance ofmicroblogging in politics.
