Research On Government Online Information’s Authority

Twenty-first Century is the era of information, and government informatizationhas become an irresistible trend. Since the start of governmental online project from1999, our country has basically formed a government website system consisting of thecentral government portal website, the Department under the State Council, localpeople’s governments at all levels and departments website, which change the way ofgovernment office and citizen participation in politics that have generally accepted.In this situation, it becomes particularly important that the government go topublish on-line information, especially in the face of sudden events and communityevents. Once people begin to doubt and object the government information online, itsinfluence will be extensive and profound, so we have to pay more and enough attentionand take timely and effective treatment. Thus, we have to ask a question thatWhat about the authority of government information online after all? If it doesn’twork, so what’s the problem? How to solve and improve government informationauthority and reliability? This is the issue that the article should study.This research is based on the Chinese government website construction andoperation status of online information, and look at the government’s authority andeffectiveness, then analysis main reason of the lack of government information onlineauthority in detail. After that, I will systematically elaborate the lack of onlineinformation publishing and government’ ability of coping and guiding public opinionwhen facing emergencies through case analysis. At last, I will put forward the way topromote the authoritative of government information online.
