In the late Qing Dynasty, in order to get rid of the western state of slavery since the Opium War, each class has launched a useful exploration and practice. There are old feudal bureaucracy to carry out the Westernization Movement, Constitutional Reform that intellectuals advocated, there are still some left Boxer Movement initiated by peasant class, however, these movements come from the emergence of civil. The Qing government ordered to reform finally, after it subjected to significant trauma in the boxer incident, at the same time, the decades of New Deal epoch in the Qing Dynasty opened up.Late Qing’s core is the promulgation of constitution, so I choose the late Qing Dynasty constitutional as the research object in this article. But the Qing government imitated Japan that after Meiji Restoration for the rapid establishment of a constitutional monarchy. Therefore, this article focuses on studying Japanese factors in the late Qing constitutional movement, to explore the place where the Japanese factors are in the late Qing Dynasty constitutional process and outcomes, restore the full picture of Japanese factors in the late Qing constitutional.This article is divided into five parts:The introduction discusses that the late Qing constitutional was paid more attention by academic, in the analysis of results of previous studies based on, I know that the previous knowledge of Japanese factors in the late Qing constitutional is still inadequate. Then put forward the significance of this study.The first chapter is an overview of the Japanese factors in the late Qing constitutional, discusses the social background prior to the late Qing constitutional, the relationship between the late Qing constitutional and Japan, the main reasons why the late Qing government imitated Japan for constitutional. The second chapter discusses the way and main content that learning Japan, focuses on the contrast of "Imperial Constitution Outline" and "Meiji Constitution", to explore the Japanese factors in the late Qing constitutional from a text perspective. The third chapter focuses on discourse of the effect and impact that the late Qing studying Japan, from the perspective of the Qing government to maintain its authoritarian rule, constitutionalism did not reach the expected results, next, to analyze the reasons for the constitutional failure from four aspects. Finally, sum up the inspiration of the late Qing constitutional borrowing from Japan.The end is conclusion, the Qing Dynasty commitment to reform on the eve of its demise, promulgated "Imperial Constitution outline", it is an strange scene in the development of the feudal dynasties. Late Qing constitutional borrowing from Japan, also provide a useful reference for the subsequent legal and cultural exchanges.
