Public institution is a unique social organization of china in the world. The public services that public institutions provide involved in every aspect of social life. Therefore, public institutions provide the quality and efficiency of public services directly affects the level and structure of social governance, people’s trust in government and satisfaction, people’s well-being, social stability and harmony and so on. With the Performance-related pay of reform in public institutions going on, establishing perfect motivate system of performance-related pay is good for mobilizing the enthusiasm and motivation of staff in public institutions, improving the quality of public services provided by public institutions, promoting the healthy development of public institutions. This paper is divided into five parts:The first part:Educed the issue what I researched, introduced the research’s background and significance, literature review, the main research contents and methods, and innovation of this paper.The second part:Defined the concepts of Public Institution, Performance-related pay, Performance-related pay of public institution and Motivation, proposed the theoretical basis of this study.The third part:Introduced the existing problems about the motivation of Chinese public institutions’performance-related pay, analyzed the causes of existing problems comprehensively.The forth part:This part is the core of this paper. Demonstrated the principles when we consummate motivation of Chinese public institutions’performance-related pay should be followed, specific methods that can solve the problems.The fifth part:This part is the conclusion of this paper. Summarized this paper and advanced some issues need to be further studied.
