Research On Civic Education Of University Based On Citizenship Ideal

There are two basic viewpoints towards civic education, one is education about citizenship, and the other is civic education of university based on citizenship. The paper chooses the latter to make research.The thesis includes five sections, the first one is preface, which is a basic statement, including research purposes and significance, research status in china and abroad, research logic thoughts, methods and possible innovation. The second section is different statements about such basic concepts as citizen, citizenship, civic education concerning the thesis, on which it looks back the developing progress and analyzes the educational ideas in some symbolized European and Asian countries or region that develop civic education of university to supply us referential experiences in practicing civic education of university based on citizenship. The third is the citizenship theoretical basis of civic education in university, that is the theoretical basis of citizenship identity in the process of carrying out civic education of university, then showing the degree to which citizenship and its qualifications in the process of civic education of university through investigated data and interview, on which carry out the possibility of civic education of university based on citizenship among Chinese universities. The forth section constructs the contents system of civic education of university on the basic of citizenship identity from three dimensionalities: in theory, it involves civic rights and responsibility education and civic obligation education; in practice, it includes civic moral education and civic ecology education; in civic life value, it contains civic life education and civic happiness education. The fifth section is the expectation and prospect of civic education of university based on citizenship ideal under the background of globalization.
