At present, the female’s income has become a matter of general concern of the scholarsat home and abroad. The problem is not only related to gender characteristic variables, humancapital variables the influence of factors, but also by safeguarded status and occupationstructure of variables. According to the second and the third Chinese women’s statusinvestigation of Jilin province, survey micro data to examine the influence factors of femaleincome in Jilin province.This analysis include the following aspects: Firstly, according to sources of incomesummarized the annual total personal income in Jilin Province, and analyze the genderincome gap for decades using descriptive statistics, and then found those women’sachievements and the problems of economic income. Secondly, the paper made an analysisand a decade compared of the demographic characteristics of men and women residents inJilin Province, the human capital situation, employment status and occupational structure.Finally, we analyze the factors affecting Women’s economic income in Jilin Province usingmultiple linear regressions.The paper used spss19.0software to analyze data and obtained to the followingconclusions. First, the income disparities for gender are very great. The fact is that women arein the low income state when we made a horizontal comparison with men.Women’s income has significantly improved for10years. But the proportion of women whoearn a lot decreased when we made a vertical comparison. Secondly, according to regressionanalysis, we found that the gender income gap in our province been reflected by thedemographic characteristics of workers, the human capital situation, employment status andoccupational structure. The affect of age for women’s income is a little significant. In addition,the urban-rural divide is also an important factor to affect the gender income, and women’seconomic gains are more likely affected by urban-rural divide. Education, as the mostimportant in human capital, effect on gender income a lot. We found that the higher level ofeducation, the higher the level of income. After10years of changing, the effect to income isbalance in gender. Health impacted on women’s income should not be overlooked. The morehealthy people obtained the higher the income, but women are more likely to ignore thehealth’s impact. Woman, who are older and whose work are more stable, the income arehigher. The income of women more vulnerable to the impact of whether on employment. Butit is not the key factor to affect the balance of income.Finally, according to the conclusions, we gave the appropriate policy recommendations.
