Morality construction is the important part of socialist spiritual civilization construction and is also the important guarantee of harmonious society construction. The central committee of our Party is always attaching great importance to the construction of civic morality from the beginning of the new century, and published the<The Program for Improving Civic Morality> to guide the morality construction of our country in future at the beginning of this century. Ten years past, the job of our morality construction has made remarkable achievements. A series of advanced moral practice activities has emerged, such as national moral models selection, juvenile morality evaluation and" red" classics review, etc. The activities has have greatly improved the moral consciousness and moral level of our national people, and open the new situation of the morality construction which takes the "Eight Honors and Eight Disgraces" socialist sense of honor or disgrace as the base and fundamental direction.As for the professional morality, we define its status in the whole morality construction which is the one of the three morality parts. We also put forward the general demands of socialist professional morality which are loving the post and respecting the work, honest, playing fair, serving the people, devoting the society. We also have the specific professional morality criterion in the profession of teacher, accountant, police and so on. But we should also know that there are some problems in the domain of professional morality, such as the education of professional morality is not enough, and its effect is not good, the supervision mechanism on professional morality is lagging and so on. The more serious problem is that most of the professions lack the targeted, special and specific morality criterion. So do the professional morality of human recourses managers.This thesis is written for the purpose of solving the problems in the professional morality of human resources managers and supplying the specific standard for the morality. This thesis includes four parts which are the specific demands of general morality and the special demands on human resources managers, the problems in professional morality of human resources manager, the reasons for the problems and the solutions for the problems. The first part tells us that the specific demands on human resources managers of the five general demands which are loving the post and respecting the work, honest, playing fair, serving the people, devoting the society, and also put forward six special demands which respectively take motivating, respecting, gratitude, loyalty, tolerance and discipline law-abiding as the key. The second part tells us the problems of professional morality of human resources managers by the reasons of the unclear in morality principle, the mistakes in dealing with affairs, the pursuit of their own interests, venting resentment, low professional attainment and the mission pressure. The third part analysis the deep reasons for the morality problems from three aspects which are individual, enterprise and society, including personal aspect:personal knowledge and culture, personal value attitude, personal moral cultivation, personal professional accomplishment.; enterprise aspect:the mistake and lag in management concept and the oversight and defect in management system; social aspect:social unhealthy present atmosphere, feudalism culture and the weaker status of labor, the problems in social morality construction. The fourth part also supplies the solutions for the problems from individual, enterprise and society three aspects, including individual learning the advanced knowledge and theory, making more morality self-valuation and thinking the work key point with heart, enterprise change the management concept and perfect the management system, society defining and detailing the morality standard, strengthening the morality education, confirming the right of employer, improving the morality environment, combining the morality construction with the law construction, etc.Human resources management is a special job which takes people as management target. The practitioner’s morality not only determines the success or failure of the management affairs, but also makes deeper, longer and nature effect on the work target. So it has significant meaning to enterprise and society development. This thesis is the first exploration in professional morality of human resources management with the hope of making some contribution to standardize the professional behavior of human resources managers and to the future research on this subject.
