Study On Network Governance Under The Background Of Web2.0

With the rapid development pace and coming era of Web2.0participated by all people, the internet has played a more and more important role in political economics as well as social life, and also become an important way to establish a people-oriented and harmonious government by applications of Web2.0technical skills. Through Web2.0, the government can effectively promote policies, investigate public issues, listen to the public’s opinions, and people have more words right with opinions and intelligence presented and collected. Although network governance’s exceptional advantages, we still have to confront various social problems resulted from the virtual world. Therefore, it’s urgent for the government to find out how to increase public’s trust and government’s image, get more people involved in the network governance, and carry out better public service. This paper aims to find out the most effective way to promote network governance by making comparison and analyzing among several Web2.0technical applications.This thesis mainly consists of five parts, including preface, related concepts and theories, current situation analysis, network governance’s prospective direction and summary. The first part discusses the background relevant to this study, significance, research goals and methods, describe the concept of Web2.0and e-Government, and make comprehensive literature review from3aspects, Web2.0’s technical applications, e-government’s development and network governance. Besides, characteristics and possible innovations are also demonstrated.The second part introduces Web2.0technology and network governance by conceptual and theoretical analysis, as well as the advantages and potential risk. Network governance’s role and significance in Web2.0era are also discussed.The third part analyses the current application status of Web2.0technologies in Wiki, the Podcasts, blogs, and microblog in network governance, especially how the booming microblog play an essential role and make significance in network governanceThe fourth part proposes how to better carry out network governance by using fast developing Web2.0skills in Web2.0era, and discuss network governance’s future path from aspects of institutionalization, balancing and standardization, and also identifies some problems to be mentioned in its development process.The last part summaries the whole paper and make an outlook for network governance in Web2.0era. Network governance in Web2.0era is opportunity as well as a challenging; the government shall make fully advantages of the technology and manage its risk at the same time.
