Research On Prevention And Treatment Of Mass Incidents In Building A Harmonious Society

As the social structural changing since the reform and opening up, there are many problemsin China, which caused a lot of mass incidents. A growing number of mass incidents evenbecome a threat to social stability, which has a negative impact on the construction ofharmonious society. Stability is a prerequisite for social development, but mass incidents leadto social instability. While stable environment is the condition of the construction ofharmonious society. The report delivered at the18th national Congress of the CommunistParty of China has offered to continue to promote the cause about the peace and developmentof human society. So, effective preventions of mass incidents have become an inevitablerequirement of building a harmonious society. Therefore, under the construction of aharmonious society, researching on prevention and treatment of mass incidents is necessary.Based on the contemporary theme of peace and development and the harmonious societybuilding in China, this paper begins with the relationship between building a harmonioussociety in China and mass incidents, using the literature review and the combination ofChina’s policy, domestic and foreign theory to study the construction of a harmonious societyunder mass incidents’ prevention. The paper refers that mass incidents affect the developmentof the harmonious society, and analysis the new features of the mass accidents to get somemeasures from three aspects: the national level, the local level, and the public level. The paperaims to promote the development of the harmonious society better and make people livehappier.
