The Research Of Chinese Peasantry’s Thinking Mode And Its Modernization

Thinking mode is a relatively stable thinking pattern that based on certain cognitive structure. Thinking subject reflects the object with the certain thinking methods and puts the certain value orientation as a goal. Peasantry’s thinking mode is a worldview and methodology which gradually formed and settled down in the peasantry’s long-term farming practice. We explore the peasantry’s modernization with the peasantry’s thinking mode as the break through point in new period, which can break through the dilemma of the rural political, economic, cultural and social construction, and provide a new perspective for research.Chinese peasantry’s traditional thinking mode formed in the society that had self-sufficient production mode and ethical-focused cultural atmosphere. The society integrates family and country, in which peasantry was exploited. Peasantry’s thinking mode formed in this society has irrational characteristic and structure of paradox. It had both positive and negative aspects. Therefore, in the process of modernization, we should not only learn the positive thought culture resources, but also resolutely resist and correctly guide its negative ingredients.The development of society not only asks for the adaptive peasantry’s thinking mode, but also promotes the modernization of the peasantry’s thinking mode. At present, peasantry’s experiential, conservative, dependent, sealed thinking mode is slowly fading out and scientific, innovative, subjectivity and open thinking mode appears. That provides the realistic foundation for the research of modernization of the peasantry’s thinking mode. The theory of the classical writer of Marxism provides theory basis for the research of modernization of the peasantry’s thinking mode.The article is committed to the historical materialism of Marxist theory as the theoretical direction and the Marxist peasantry’s concept as the theoretical basis. On the basis of predecessors’ research results, it explores the effective path on which we can realize the modernization of the peasantry’s thinking mode. The article puts forward some tentative ideas from the economy, society, political and cognition four aspects for realizing the modernization of the peasantry’s thinking mode.
