Research On China’s Rural Grassroots Democratic Political Construction Since The Reform And Opening Up

Grassroots democracy in rural areas as a major aspect of thedemocratic political construction of socialism with Chinesecharacteristics, internal reflection of the superiority of the socialistsystem. With the deepening of reform and opening up, the party attachesgreat importance to the building of grass-roots democracy, has always beento protect people’s rights and interests, and improve grassrootsdemocracy as an important part of the expansion of democracy. The soundof the rural grass-roots democratic political system, on the one hand,an important guarantee for maintaining social stability, and to ensurethe stability of the state, on the other hand is also related to the paceof construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics. The reform andopening up of Practice has proved that only by constantly improving therural grass-roots democracy, and to be able to ensure the soundness ofour entire democratic political construction. Recent years, China’sgrassroots democracy gained considerable development, but also faces anumber of obstacles, such as: the grass-roots democratic supervision isnot in place, the system is imperfect, and grassroots democracy and thebuilding of the legal system is not perfect, these factors to some extenthinders the improvement and development of the fundamental democraticpolitical system. Interpretation of this paper is mainly from four aspects,the first part discusses in detail the basic theoretical content of thegrass-roots democracy, provide important protection for the below; second part that’s achievements since the reform and opening up China’sgrassroots democracy; the third part of the four main aspects pointed outthe existing problems in the process of China’s grassroots democracy inrecent years; last part on the basis of the third part, the proposedcountermeasures in consummating the grass-roots democracy, then forimproving and perfecting China’s socialist democratic political systemreference.
