Study Of Contemporary Chinese Citizens' Consciousness Of Rule Of Law Development

At present, China is walking in the road of the rule of law. The rule of law has become a common choice and a common pursuit of the Chinese people, but also the inevitable social development needs. After years of the rule of law, the rule of law situation in the country has made great progress, and "Rule of law" is no longer just the people’s aspirations and slogan. And consciousness of the rule of law is the foundation of the rule of law, the inevitable requirement of the rule of law, and also the effective public ideas to support the process of the rule of law. It was born in the practice of the rule of law, and will put a huge role in promoting the rule of law.We can see that citizens is the main body of society, and their consciousness of the rule of law developed or not will decide the future of the rule of law in China. Chinese citizens’consciousness of the rule of law has been greatly developed, but there are also a lot of problems, the development of the consciousness of the rule of law will be very hard. This article shows and analyzes the course of development of the contemporary Chinese citizen consciousness of the rule of law from the value of the content of the consciousness of the rule of law.In the first part, I present and analyze the concept and connotation of the consciousness of the rule of law. And because of the concept of the rule of law form Aristotle, we can divide the consciousness of the rule of law into two parts that consciousness of the rules and consciousness of good law.In the second part of this article, I Intro the consciousness of the rules from the different manifestations between China and West Country. In the Chinese cultural tradition, people do not care about the rules, and have more emphasis on the power compared with law, and they think that the law is just an extension of the powers. To show the tortuous of the Chinese community, especially the citizens’consciousness of the rules from the perspective of legal history since the late Qing Dynasty, we can see that Chinese citizens’awareness of the rule of law have developed into the stage of awareness of the rules.In part three, it gives us some specific analysis about the concept and connotation and the foundation of consciousness of good law, and the mutual support relationship with the consciousness of the rules. And it describes the issues about the construction of good law in China from the perspective of human rights, democracy, and constitutionalism.In part four, the last part of this article, it gives us some specific analysis about the inevitability and performance of the development of the consciousness of the rule of law of contemporary civic. And there are some suggestions on the development of consciousness of the rule of law from the legislative, administrative, judicial and legal education.
