Due to the fact that Han Nationality has apowerful impact on Yao Nationality, Yao Nationality heavily depends on the HanNationality in aspect of economy, however, due to the region where Yao Nationalityand Han Nationality live is relatively complex, and their social relations is notintimate enough, Yao Nationality still remains some unique characteristics. This article is divided into four chapters, aiming at illustrating regional andpopulation distribution, economic relation, social and cultural relations as well as thecharacteristics and causes of the two nationalities’ relation during the Period of theRepublic of China in the North of Guangdong Province. The first chapter mainly discusses Yao Nationality and Han Nationality in theNorth of Guangdong Province, including geographical information, populationdistribution and characteristics of the two sections.
