The Research On The Law-officers In Guangdong Province In The Republic Of China(1927-1938)

The law-officers from 1927 to 1938 in Guangdong Province is the case of the research. The article reviews the operation of judge system in the prophase of National Government of Nanjing. It includes the contents of four parts. The first part introduced the evolution of judicial organ of Guangdong Province and the appearance of the professional group of judge in the End of Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China. It generalised the situation of judicature, carded the evolution of judicial organ from the End of Qing Dynasty to the fall of Guangzhou and analysed the formation of the professional group of judge. The second part introduced the qualification and appointment of the law-officers of Guangdong Province. Based on the special environment of politics from 1927 to 1938, it described the qualification and accreditation of the law-officers of Guangdong Province and analysed the characteristics of appointment of the law-officers. The third part introduced the responsibility and the treatment of the law-officers. It analysed the allocation condition of the courts at all levels and survival condition of the law-officers. The four part introduced the reward and punishment of the law-officers. It expatiated the main measures and of the fulfillment of examination and analysed the effects and faults of the reward and punishment according to correlated measures about professional morality and behavior criterion of the law-officers of Guangdong Province.
