The Mass Work Of Rural Revolutionary Base In The Time Of Neo-democratic Revolution

The Communist Party of China (CCP) is aware of connecting the common people since its establishment. Therefore, the mass work becomes one of the most important tasks of the Party during the neo-democratic revolution. To explore the history of the Party’s general public work may help us to deepen the historical knowledge of the Party. The rural revolutionary base is one of the main places for the mass work, and makes the Party accumulate various working experience with long and hard work in the rural area. It was a great success of revolutionary base. The present study analyses the historical materials, in order to review the execution of mass work in the rural revolutionary base. Starting from here, the thesis reveals some basic rules for the Party to unify, to encourage, and to organize common people, which prepare references for the mass work at present. This thesis consists of five parts.Part Ⅰ. Analyze and illustrate the mass work in three aspects. First, it defines and interprets the connotation of the mass work. It should be made clear from the perspective of concept which explains the connotation of the mass work. Second, illustrations of the basic characteristics of the mass work are needed. Third, it begins with showing the importance of a successful mass work and focuses on the importance to our country’s development.Part Ⅱ. It presents a systematic observation on the executing of mass work from four angles. First, it analyzes the task of rural revolutionary base’s mass work during the democratic revolution period. Second, it illustrates how the mass work was executed in the rural revolutionary base. Third, it concludes the main contents of the mass work in rural revolutionary bases. Forth, besides certain tasks, approaches and contents, the principles must be concluded from the rules for the mass work in rural revolutionary base.Part Ⅲ. It generalizes the main achievements of the mass work in rural revolutionary bases during the Neo-democratic revolution. First, the effective mass work provided the public basis for the success of Neo-democratic revolution, and made the revolutionary war a war of the people. Second, the mass work with appropriate means and attitudes changed the traditional government-people and army-mass relations. The Party and the people’s army have set up an intimate relationship, and create new Party-public, leader-people, and army-mass relationships.Part Ⅳ. It concluded the main experiences of the mass work in rural revolutionary bases during the Neo-democratic revolution. First, the mass work must grab the main contradiction and work with pertinence. Second, the mass work has to avoid blind copy and be aware of emotional communication. Third, it needs continuous personal improvement to get an effective work group.Part Ⅴ. It proposes some advice and suggestions for the mass work on the basis of concluding the main experiences of the mass work in rural revolutionary bases during the Neo-democratic revolution. First, the construction of mass work group must be enhanced. Second, attention must be paid to reality. It is important to know the common people’s live situation, people’s intentions, and to protect people’s discourse power. Third, creative working methods connected with reality must be constructed. Forth, negotiation between people can help people deal with various benefits and protect the vital benefit of people.
