People’s livelihood problem is not only a economic problem,social problem,but alsoan important political problem.In the17th and the18th national congress political report,General secretary Hu Jintao emphasizes the importance of construction of people’slivelihood.Mao Zedong as a great Marxist,when he is leading the Chinese revolution andsocialist construction,always practice the tenet of“serving the people wholeheartedly”,theheart of the people,and put forward a lot of thoughts about giving attention to people’sliving conditions and improving people’s life.The period of the Anti-Japanese War is thematuration period of Mao Zedong thought,studying deeply Mao Zedong’s thoughts on thelivelihood of the people of this period is good for our understanding of Mao Zedongthought comprehensively and accurately;is helpful to enrich and develop Marxist ideas ofthe people’s livelihood;is favorable for the formation of people’s livelihood thought ofsocialism with Chinese characteristics,at the same time it can provide theoretical guidancefor our country social construction with emphasis on the people’s livelihood.This paper tries to deeply discuss the connotation of Mao Zedong’s thoughts ofpeople’s livelihood in this period,of which research target is Mao Zedong’s thoughts ofpeople’s livelihood in the period of the Anti-Japanese War,with the method of documentreference and the integration of history and theory,from the formation,the main content,thetheory contemporary value and the enlightenment of the Mao Zedong’s thought ofpeople’s livelihood in the period of Anti-Japanese War.Hoping that through thisresearch,we can have a system and deep understanding of Mao Zedong’s thoughts ofpeople’s livelihood.In this paper,the specific logical structure is as follows:The first chapter mainly from the macro level discusses the forming conditions ofMao Zedong’s thoughts of people’s livelihood in the period of the Anti-Japanese War:people-based thought in ancient China and modern bourgeois revolutionaries’ thought ofpeople’s livelihood are the cultural origins;The livelihood of the people thought ofMarxism forms the theoretical basis of Mao Zedong’s thought of people’s livelihood;the practices of the Chinese revolution are the pratical foundation of Mao Zedong’s thought ofpeople’s livelihood.The second chapter is the main part of the thesis,which mainly from three aspectselaborates the main content of Mao Zedong’s thought of people’s livelihood in the periodof the Anti-Japanese War:the first section deeply analyzes Mao Zedong’s understanding ofpeople’s livelihood problem of this period,that is solving the problem of the livelihood ofthe people is the needs of improving people’s life and the victory of Anti-Japanese War;the second section summarizes the Mao Zedong’s thought to solve the problem of thelivelihood of the people that is serving the people wholeheartedly is the basic ideas tosolve the problem of the livelihood of the people,responsing to the people is the supremeprinciple to solve the problem of the people’s livelihood,the people is the main power tosolve the problem of the livelihood of the people,the development of economy is thepremise condition and material foundation to solve the problem of the livelihood of thepeople and giving consideration to both troops and civilians is the important principle tosolve the problem of the people’s livelihood;the third quarter expounds specific measuresto solve the problem of the people’s livelihood in details from the aspects of economy,education,medical treatment and so on.The third chapter,which is this paper’s starting point and the foothold,summarizes thetheoretical value and contemporary enlightenment of Mao Zedong’s thoughts of people’slivelihood in the period of the Anti-Japanese War.In the aspect of theoretical value,itenriches and develops the livelihood of the people thought of Marxism and providesideological basis for the formation of our country’s construction theory of the people’slivelihood;In terms of contemporary enlightenment,we should draw lessons from MaoZedong’s thought to solve the problem of the livelihood of the people in the period ofAnti-Japanese War and the method to solve the problem of the contemporary people’slivelihood,we must attach great importance to the problem of the livelihood of the people,must use the means of the development to solve the problem of the people’s livelihood, must strengthen the system construction to construct the safe net of the livelihood of thepeople.
