During the period of the Anti-Japanese War,Mao Zedong, based on the overall situation of the Anti-Japanese War,continued to explore the problems of farmers, more thoroughly analyzed and solved the problems of farmers, combined the Marxist theory of farmers with the practice of the Anti-Japanese War,and formed a more mature Mao Zedong peasant thought.During the period of the Anti-Japanese War,Mao Zedong's understanding and practice of peasant issues not only played an important role in winning the victory of the Anti-Japanese War,but also had an important practical guiding significance for solving the problems of "agriculture, rural areas and farmers" under the background of "rural revitalization strategy" in the new era.The core content of this paper is divided into four parts. The first part discusses the forming conditions of Mao Zedong's peasant thought during the Anti-Japanese War.The important discussion of Marxist classical writers on the peasant problem, the Chinese traditional heavy agriculture thought and the early communist's exploration of the peasant problem are the theoretical origin of this thought. The emergence of the peasant problem and the revolutionary practice of the Anti-Japanese War led by the communist party of China since modern times are the realistic basis for the formation of this thought. The second part discusses the historical generation and basic characteristics of Mao Zedong's peasant thought during the Anti-Japanese War.On the one hand, the transformation from class struggle to Anti-Japanese national united front ideology, the successful practice of the revolutionary road of "encircling the city in the countryside and seizing the political power with arms",the acceleration of the construction of rural base areas, and the persistence of peasant guerrilla war are discussed from three dimensions. On the other hand, the basic characteristics of this thought are discussed from three aspects: the unification of time and practicality, the unification of theory and practice, and the unification of inheritance and innovation. The third part discusses the main contents of Mao Zedong's peasant thought during the Anti-Japanese War.This paper attempts to construct the main contents of Mao Zedong's peasant thought in the period of Anti-Japanese War from the aspects of the peasant revolution main body thought, the peasant economic benefit guarantee thought, the peasant political participation thought and the peasant education reform thought. The fourth part discusses the historical status and contemporary value of Mao Zedong's peasant thought during the Anti-Japanese War.From the perspective of historical status, this thought,as an important part of Mao Zedong's ideological system, enriched and developed the Marxist concept of peasants, and became an important ideological weapon for the victory of the Anti-Japanese War.From the point of view of contemporary value, this thought has important realistic guiding significance to solve theproblems of "agriculture, rural areas and farmers" under the background of "rural revitalization strategy" in the new era.
