Historical Process And Real Istic Inspiration Of The Construction Of Official Morality Of Communist Party Of China

Official morality, or namely the official virtue, is an important component of social morality including political morality, professional ethics, social ethics and family virtue. Official as the proprietor of the public power can allocate public resources on the basis of his own power. Therefore, certain constraints to officials are necessary in order to make sure that the public powers are not abused and the vital interests of people are not damaged. One effective way is to improve the moral standards of official in order to make their moral behavior reasonable and legitimate. Specific to the booming of the great cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics, a road of official morality which is in the line with the Chinese specific national conditions and ruling position of Communist Party of China should be explored on the basis of90years’historical process of official morality of Communist Party of China.First, adopting the view of historical materialism, this thesis regards official morality as a dynamic process of evolution from the start of the concept of official as well as making a conclusion of the connotation and characteristic of official morality with placing it into different historical periods. Meanwhile, different effects of official morality in construction of cadres, transformation of the government and social morality are analyzed in order to lay the realistic basis for the further explore of the thesis.Then, this thesis sums up that the main performances of official anomie are political power trading, economic trade power for money and the trading of desire for power in life with the cases of current official anomie. Also, this thesis further analyzes the main reasons of official anomie with three conclusions. The "Officialdom Standard Thought" is the ideological roots of official anomie. The inherent weakness of the market economy is the catalyst of official anomie and the system defect is the system sources of official anomie.Moreover, this thesis concludes the historical process of construction of official morality of Communist Party of China. The author intends to divide the historical process into three periods:New Democratic Revolution, Socialist revolution and construction and reform and opening up and socialist modernization. In these three periods, Communist Party of China made a series of principles and policies to construct the official morality according to the different historical tasks. Through the analysis and generalization of these measures, this thesis attempts to summarize some basic rules of Communist Party of China during the construction of official morality in order to guide the construction of official morality.At last, this thesis generalizes the four general principles of CPC during the period of construction of official morality on the basis of concluding the historical experience of CPC during construction of official morality. The first is to make continuously develop ment of Marxism and guide the construction of official morality with the latest theoretical achievements of Marxism. The second is to strengthen the ideological and cultural education of the party members and cadres. The third is to pay equal attention to establishing moral models and punishing corrupt elements. The fourth is to emphasize the training and constraints of the system to official morality.
