In this paper, we have a Research into the Social integration of the migrant farmworkers in city From their professional characteristics and the relationship with thesuburban agriculture.The research which Based on a field investigations in a Beijingvillage aims to analysis the relationship between the migrant farm workers in city andthe local people, In terms of labor force, economy, living condition, familylife,children education, social interaction and sense of community,,etc.so as to Reflecttheir living conditions and behavior logic.According to the article, the migrant farm workers are relatively easy to integrateinto urban agriculture, But different from local farmers in terms of revenue and costsespecially land-rent costs;Their family is difficult to blend in cities, One majorobstacle lies in their children’s education system barriers; Their production andlifeclosely related to local communities, But it is hard to blend in; Their social capitalin "social evolution " pattern, They are psychologically difficult to integrate intocity.so,The article thinks about promoting migrant farmer workers to blend in thecity,and provide relevant advices about the household registration system, suburbancommunity management services, farmer cooperative organizations, favorablepolicies,social work services,and so on.The article consists of seven chapters. The first chapter describes the statement ofthe problem, the significance of this study as well as the method of the research. Thesecond Chapter is to show how the foreign farming population choose their way oflife in city、their farming land and their Social features.Chapter3to Chapter6willincludes description and analysis of The institutional rejection they suffers、Socialintegration、social capital、The psychological integration condition.Chapter7reflectthe difficulties of their Social integration, and put forward countermeasures anddevelopment proposals.
