Build The In-service Distance Education System Of Elite Athletes

Nowadays more and more elite athletes enter colleges and universities in service tohigher education, many of whom are world champions. This group that have make asignificant contribution to the state, while it is difficult to see their shadows in the classroom,in other words the majority of sports stars at the University of in reading is the "nominal".Therefore, it is difficult to see the sports star those who have registered to adhere to attendclass and complete their studies successfully.The elite athletes in college for the purpose of maintain and improve athletic performancemust spent long-term to systematic training at all levels sports teams, thereby they would beneglect of cultural studies in colleges and universities. Now, how to better solve the eliteathletes’ cultural education in college has become a major problem for university, sportsauthorities and athletes themselves. This research project is aim to find a better way to solvethis problem.This paper take five pilot colleges and universities in Jiangxi Province which have recordin the Ministry of Education to recruit elite athletes for study, the college include JiangxiNormal University, East China Jiaotong University, Nanchang University, Jiangxi Universityof Science, Gannan Teachers College.Use the way of questionnaires survey, computerprogramming, expert interviews, documents and materials, mathematical statistics and so onto deeply investigate and interview the source, cultural foundation, interest in learning, learnmanagement, enrollment management, learning and training time management, levels ofcomputer applications, learning needs, learning and supervision issues of the elite athletes inservice who study in the college in Jiangxi Province, and sort, statistics, analysis this surveydata. Survey: in-service elite athletes in college of Jiangxi province mainly from the nationalteam or provincial sports teams. The study of enter the college mostly are recommend foradmission or drop points. Before entering the college most of in-service elite athletes’educational background is specialist qualifications and their cultural foundation is weak.Many of them are interested in cultural lessons while the result isn’t quiet good. Most athleteshave a computer which has access to the Internet and familiar with the basic operation. Theseelite athletes possessed the hardware and software conditions of distance education which through computer network platform. According to the cultural studies needs of athletes, thisarticle has made a lot of investigation and designed an online distance education systemincludes synchronization lessons, online jobs, online test, interactive Q&A, resource centersmodules for athletes and will constantly improved this system.Currently in our university the cultural education technology platform of in-service eliteathletes is blank. This article is aim to try and explore a convenient and efficient e-learningplatform for athletes’ cultural study. The education about athletes is not only a task ofin-service elite athletes and universities, but also it is need the sports system can coordinatewith the education sector. Design a set of distance education, supervision, and evaluationsystem for the in-service elite athletes is necessary.
