The main responsibilities of practical local universities is cultivating practicaltalents and serving for the local industrials and enterprises, for the purpose of promotingeconomic and social development in this region. For this reason,production-teaching-research cooperative education is the key point to achieving theapplication talents of such kind of universities. The document of National Long-termEducation Reform and Development Plan Outline offer a task about optimizing thestructure of higher education, at the same time, the local universities should developtheir characteristic. The document also emphasis on the close integration betweenhigher education and regional economy development. Therefore, what is the operatingsituation and problems about the production-teaching-research cooperative education inour country, and how to improve it. To study and solve these problems have asignificant meaning to promoting the development of cooperative education.This Research utilizes documentary method to analyzing its current situation ofproduction-teaching-research education pattern and cultivation for Applicative Talents.Then, analyze the theoretical basis of production-teaching-research cooperativeeducation. In the third part, based on the modern Chinese history and explore the originsof application talents. What is more, the author try to analyzing the connotation andsocial demand conditions of the applied talents from different perspective. In the fourthpart, after reviewing the history of the cooperation of education, the author declare thesignificance of the production-teaching-research education pattern to the cultivation ofapplication talents through analyzing the problem of current mode. Furthermore, thispaper list three types of typical mode we current use including its characteristic andproblems, and analyze the reason. In the last part, the author takes Germany, Americanand England as an example, giving some recommendation about cooperative mode frominterior assurance and exterior mechanism this two aspects. In the end, it points outsome shortages and future study direction.Based upon the analyzing of current production-teaching-research cooperativemode in local universities, this paper aim to promoting the development ofproduction-teaching-research cooperative education according to my recommendation.
