Based On The "holistic" Social Demand Perspective To Explore The System Of Protection Of Minors

In the unceasing process of social work professional services, its ideas andmethods also widely influence every social service field. Social work professionalservice plays a decisive role to the more and more stronger request of constructing theminors-protected system. This study is based on the quality of comprehensiveness ofminors-protected system, with visual angle of thinking about the ability to responsethe minors’“complete human” socialized needs, combined with the advance of socialwork professional service, to explore the system construction of the framework andstrategy of the minors-protected system, which could response to the demand ofminors’ healthy growth comprehensively.This paper comes from a depth case study at a junior school in the Ya’an city ofSichuan province, with the research method of the combination of interview andquestionnaire survey, With the visual angle of the school’s protection systemresponding to students’“complete human” socialized needs, this study analyzes thecooperation mechanism among students, teachers, parents and school leaders aboutthe service system of "healthy growth demand of minors ", as well as the interactionand interlink between different groups. Furthermore, through reviewing the literature,the study analyzes the application of current minors-protected mechanism and theprofessional social work service in China. Considering minors’ protection as theimportant content of social welfare, foreign minors-protected mechanism is analyzedfor reference. In terms of methodology, human development is a complex product ofbiological, psychological and social and cultural factors, so the minors-protectedsystem must be adhere to such a magnificent view. From the perspective EcologicalSystems Theory of social work, this paper discusses how to construct aminors-protected system which both can satisfy the healthy growth needs of minors,but also can promote the cooperation ability among the different departments of thesystem. As a result, it combines prevention, protection and compensation in one, atthe same time it advocates that social workers should undertake the socialresponsibility to promote the construction of the system in their professional service.
