College sports is an extension of competitive sports in campus, after20yearsdevelopment, it has accumulated plentiful experience and formed clearly characteristics ofsports culture in different schools. College sports has play an important role in guiding collegestudents in the values of sport, the attitudes and motivate of participation and thecorresponding of physical behavior. Culture of the campus sports is part of culture. It is aculture of thinking and behavior that is formed from teachers and students’ practical activities.The sports culture can play a subtle role for the teachers and students on the campus.The starting point of this paper is the relationship between college sports and campussports culture. Investigate the college sports and campus sports culture’s construction status,and explore the way that university campus sports and sports culture influence each other.This article takes the influences of material culture, spiritual culture and behavior of theculture as an effective way to promote the development of college sports and campus sportsculture, and propose consructive comments to promote the development of both. Throughresearch and analysis of survey results, the main draw the following conclusions:(1)Nowadays college leadership has paid more and more attention at college sports and campussports culture, while they were still weak at the knowledge that about promoting thedevelopment of mutual between the two.(2) There is a certain interaction between Nanhanguniversity campus sports culture and sports, but interaction is not enough obviously.(3)College students had a very good understanding about the sportsmanshion which inherent incollege competitive sports. So that the spiritual, such as collective, teamwork, hard work andso on, of university students have a good level development (4) the construction of thecampus sports system is not enough improvement and the related rules and regulations havenot yet formed, which resulted in institutional barriers for carried out the work on campussports. This article which based on the results proposed corresponding recommendations:College leaders should continue to strengthen the spirit of sports, and recognize theimportance that the interaction development between college sports and campus sports andcultural. Create brand competition, develop brand activities for propose of promoting thedevelopment of campus sports culture. The construction of college sports and campus sportsculture should always take the spirit of sport as the core, made the spirit of campussportsmanship consistent with the spirit of the sports, formed a unique campus sporting spiritculture. Constantly improve campus sports system, standardize the campus physical behavior.
