This article studied the spread activities of kite sport in Urumqi, Xinjiang. Thisarticle, based on literature reviewing method, interview method and questionnairesurvey method studied the spread of kite sport in Urumqi with the point of view ofinterpersonal communication, organizational communication and masscommunication. This paper survey the status quo of spread activities of kite sport inUrumqi, Xinjiang.In this study, the following conclusions can be drawn.(1) Kite sports in Urumqiinterpersonal spread has the following characteristics. Diversification of transmit andreceive channels of information; timely feedback, high frequency of interaction;Non-institutionalized; Sports leaders play a major role in the dissemination process.Just like language symbols, non-verbal symbols play a very important role inInterpersonal spread of the Urumqi region. People’s symbolic understandings ofdifferences, especially in the understanding of different ethnic symbols have greatdifferences.(2) Urumqi, Kite Association made an important contribution to theUrumqi region kite sports organizational communication. But it is also the existenceof the old management model, the lack of effective information input and outputcapacity and long-term development planning shortcomings.(3) Kite movement ofthe Urumqi area of mass communication has the following characteristics. Theaudience composition is very complex; the contents of spread have properties withcultural, entertainment and merchandise. Internet and other emerging media level arenot high. Urumqi region kite movement of mass communication to improve theattitude of the people to participate in the kite activities, promote the popularity ofkite movement; to stimulate the development of the kite industry; caused by changesin the way of viewing.Based on the findings, put forward the following recommendations.(1)Popularity of the spread symbol of a unified to facilitate audience spread anddissemination of information;(2) Strengthen the use of emerging media, andstrengthen the information targeted rapid spread of ability, to increase theattractiveness for young people.(3) Change management model, and make a cleardevelopment goals of the Urumqi City Kite Association, to develop a properlong-term and short-term planning.(4) Increase the means of information input andoutput, a planned, purposeful kite sports-related information collected. Afterdigestion and absorption of the association, then the external output of information toupdate and exchange of information.(5) To strengthen spread with the mainstream media. The Urumqi kite Association should be enhanced to strengthen spread,enhance mutual understanding with the major radio and television stations,newspapers and other media. Ways to increase the exposure of the kite sports in thepublic view is that the public have more opportunities to understand the kite sports.(6) Increase the competition screenings, expand competitions scale.
