XX University Student Cadre Incentive Mechanism Research

Since the extended enrollment to Colleges and Universities in 1999, the sum of college students has greatly increased, which result in a shortness of teachers, dedicating to the management to students, and make the management to students harder. Therefore, it’s extremely necessary to effectively select and train outstanding leaders to alleviate this pressure among college students, which will finally lead to their self-management, self-education, and self-service. The characteristics of this new age require the thinking and political work of college students must cling to the former and its combination with social reform, standing on the reality and making out of the advantages of student leaders. If college student leaders fulfill their duty actively, the management to students will run smoothly. However, in recent years a large number of student leaders’work lacks initiative and enthusiasm, and some of those leaders even quit which impose bad influence on the management to students and directly make the daily management could not work properly. What leads to the student leaders’indolence and even their resignation? At present, many colleges and universities haven’t pay enough attention to the importance of encouragement to student leaders, nor do they have serious consider about those leaders’psychological need that are both active and reasonable, which cause to the neglect of guidance and management to them. This article designs to explore its reason from two different angles of college students’ incentive mechanism:(A) the effective combination of the theory of modern education for all-round development and incentive mechanism of management to guide the building of college students’incentive mechanism in X university;(B) the establishment of incentive mechanisms to promote the diverse function of student leaders.Sample survey is employed in this study. The number of 200 copies of questionnaire is issued, and 191 copies have been retaken while 185 copies among which are valid. Now we get the reason that interfere college students in taking student duty and cause their unwilling to be student leaders by descriptive statistic analysis and data analysis, based on SPSS 15.0 for Windows and LISREL8.7 software:1, the diversification of motives that college students serve in student duty; 2, the imperfection of management mechanism of student leaders; 3, the diversified pressure bore by student leaders; 4, assorted behavior traits. Besides, we also get the four issues existing in student leaders’incentive mechanism of XX University:1, the problem of the subject of this mechanism; 2, the problem of the object of the mechanism; 3, the range of encouraged student leaders is narrow; 4, the mismatch of dedication and rewards. Only if the right incentive mechanism is further promoted and taken to run the management to college students, can college students have the chance to develop their ability and improve their practical working skill which in total indicate the all-round development of their own.Through the analysis of the original cause of weakness existing in college students’incentive mechanism of XX University, the comprehensive application of research method of thinking and political education theory and that of the principles of management, namely, the effective integration of modern education for all-round development and incentive mechanism, can lead to the establishment of valid incentive mechanism ways and means to promote the diverse development of student leaders via exploring their common ground and difference, employing the goal of college students’incentive mechanism of XX University as the thinking guidelines.The main innovation points lie in (1), the effective integration of modern education for all-round development theory and the incentive theory; (2), building multiple incentive mechanism in student leaders by applying the incentive theory. The combination of education for all-round development lying in modern universities and the theory of incentive mechanism will be employed to guide the establishment of the incentive mechanism of college students. At the same time, the multiple integrated encouragements to college students accompanied by the building of incentive mechanism in them will also be employed to achieve the training of student leaders’comprehensive ability. Both sides of this coin are new research concepts, which are great challenges once they are applied to the incentive theory.
