With the constant improvement of sport performance about Chinese women discus projects, our country and research institutions give more and more attention on the discus training and research. However, research on shot direction and landing area effect of the elite discus athletes are also rare. The purpose of this parer is to explore the influencing factors of Chinese elite female discus throwers’shot direction and landing area from the point of kinematics and analyze the relevant kinematic parameters. This research is in order to provide further reference on reducing the number of fighting net and out-of-bounds in the women discus throwers’throwing processes and maintaining a good shot state and stability.This paper takes 8 women discus throwers as the research subjects,which has been gone into the final race in Hefei National Track and Field Championships. We has analyzed the related indicators which maybe influence the shot direction and landing area of the research subjects in the methods of literature, experts interview. experiment, mathematical statistics and comparative analysis.The results:1, the relationship between discus and body position in the rotation technique have a significant effect on the shot direction. When the location of the discus lowest point is in the right posterior of the body,the shot direction will incline to the right of axis of bank. When the location of the discus lowest point is in the left posterior of the body,the shot direction will incline to the left of axis of bank.2, in the final acceleration stage of the final force, the angle of the hip joint turned can influence the shot direction in a large extent. The angle of the hip joint turned greater, the shot direction will incline to the left of axis of bank. The angle of the hip joint turned not enough, the shot direction will incline to the right of axis of bank. The angle change of the right knee joint doesn’t have significant effect on the shot direction.3, in the final acceleration stage of the final force, when the turned speed of the left shoulder and the left hip is significantly greater than the right side, the shot direction will incline to the right of axis of bank. While the study that the turned speed of the shoulder and hip how can make the shot direction incline to the left of axis of bank is not yet clear.4,in the connecting stage.if the distance between the feet is too long, the body’s moment of inertia will be larger, so that the shot direction will incline to the left of axis of bank.If the distance between the feet is too short, the body’s moment of inertia will be minorer,so that the shot direction will incline to the right of axis of bank.5,the range of motion and the radius of gyration can affect the throwing distance, but can’t affect the shot direction.6, time difference of the discus lowest point and the shot point in the rotation technique and the relative position of the body can reflect the shot time is reasonable or not. Shot too late, the landing area of the discus will incline to the left of axis of bank,or even out of bounds.Shot too early, the landing area of the discus will incline to the right of axis of bank.or even out of bounds and fighting net.
