This thesis analyzed the current situation and influencing factors of the weak group inphysical exercises in some colleges and universities of Shanxi Province through the methodof document and comparative method to provide advices or countermeasures to help the weakgroup in physical exercises in colleges and universities to take part in physical exercisesbetter.The result shows that the main form of weak group in physical exercises in colleges anduniversities of Shanxi Province to take part in physical exercises is Health Care Courseswhich is once or twice a week and most of them are more than 30 minutes every time. Themain physical exercise programs of weak group in physical exercises are Chinese martial arts,Qigong and Healthy Maintenance; the students do sports in stadiums or vacant lot on campusand most of them don’t have goals or plans of physical exercises.The influencing factors are the 7 parts as follows in the order: curriculum, subjectivecognition, campus culture, the environment of sports, physical quality, teachers’quality andfamily and society.According to the result of the research, the author suggests that the colleges anduniversities should increase the input in stadiums and sport equipments; bring in professionalteachers of Health Care Courses or provide specialized training to current teachers; expandphysical programs that suitable for weak group, perfect the target system of Health CareCourse, design the organization and teaching methods of courses and establish a scientific andreasonable assessment methods to provide full services to weak group in physical exercises totake part in sports better.
