The word frequency statistics based on Zipf’s law in literature metrology is oneof the most commonly used methods, based on literature words frequency statistics,from high to low according to the order of ranking, selection of core vocabulary orhigh frequency vocabulary. This method not only can be used to study a particularsubject area specific period hotspot, also through the lexical frequency flow changesreflect the research hotspot in change. While the literature metrology of co-wordanalysis law is in the same document at the same time, the key words or subjectheadings for statistical analysis, reveal the research structure, development status,development trend. This paper is based on the related domestic and foreign researchas the basis, using word frequency statistics and co-word analysis method to the fieldof educational technology, the five core journals of key words as the research object,carries on the statistics of word frequency, using content analysis method of factoranalysis, cluster analysis and multidimensional scaling analysis will result in a visualform, reveal the hot topics and trend of researches on educational technology.The first part, through reading and extensive reading of literature, survey,understand each held during the educational technology is widely used in the area ofimpact activities, comprehensive overview of current our country about the field ofeducational technology in the research focus and discipline structure, the deficiency ofresearch trends.The second part, from the statistics of word frequency and word analysis, tosolve the problems are presented in this study the sequence and related processes; atthe same time, points out that to study the field of educational technology, the related advantages and disadvantages, research methods and the research the problem of theclose relationship between, for using word frequency statistic method and co wordanalysis method to study the issues related to set theory.The third part, the extracted keywords word frequency statistics, choose the highfrequency words and the analysis of the high frequency words change in recent years,summarizes the research hot spots and high-frequency words are represented in theflow of knowledge change.The fourth part, the establishment of a common word matrix, the matrix byfactor analysis, cluster analysis and multi scale analysis, draw the correspondinggraph, visual form of knowledge structure and the research trend, for the scholars inthe future study and provide a reference.
