China’s current" kindergarten work order" and" guidelines for kindergarten education"clearly states that kindergarten’s main task is to implement the principle of combiningeducation and nursing and educate children from the aspect of body, wisdom, virtue andbeauty thus to promote the harmonious development of their physical and mental. At the sametime, it also regulates that children should take outdoor activity every day for at least twohours, including sports activities for one hour. The outline puts the" body" in the first placeand sets the children’s outdoor activities minimum time which fully reveals the deepconnotation of“body”lies in " wisdom, virtue, beauty". This undoubtedly take the children’ssports activities as the first way to comprehensively improve the quality of children, lay agood foundation for their body and promote the lifetime healthy development. As the furthercarrying out of children’s sports activities, the child basic gymnastics is drawing more andmore attention and welcome and it gradually became the optimal movement pattern forchildren’s fitness, mental health. However, as the main training base for future kindergartenteachers, the preschool normal school’s children basic gymnastics teaching did not take on thesituation of“all flowers bloom together ". Some schools even appeared to be the phenomenonof" behind closed doors". At present, researches on child basic gymnastics teaching seem veryfew in preschool normal schools, not to say the great scientific research achievements.Therefore, it is necessary and urgent to strengthen the research on child basic gymnasticsteaching.This article adopts the literature collection, questionnaire survey, expert interview,mathematical statistics and logical analysis and other methods to have an overall research onthe basis of the developing situations of child basic gymnastics in preschool normal schools,the teaching environment, teaching staff construction, teaching conditions, teaching methodsand influencing factors. And after the deep analysis on a series of problem which influencethe preschool normal school’s launching of child basic gymnastics, the author puts forwardthe following strategie: 1) to increase the propaganda, pay great attention to joint strength thusto promote the in-depth of development classroom teaching; 2) to optimize adjustment, havescientific teaching thus to improve the practical effect of teaching; 3) to strengthen study,introduce appropriately, pay attention to the building of teachers’team. The results andsuggestions are as the followings:The forms of child basic gymnastics curriculum should mainly be melted in the PE class and take its single opening as the subordination. And on the types, it should be mainly takenas compulsory lesson with the combination of elective and compulsory. Both the teachers andstudents considered it is necessary to carry out the separate courses.Leaders in preschool normal school have showed high and great attention to child basicgymnastics teaching, but compared with the course itself, they pay more attention tocompetition and achievement. Most Students like very much to have the child basicgymnastics lessons , but they need to improve their understanding of the curriculum itself.On teaching materials, most schools use the school-based teaching materials as the mainform and there are not suitable and relatively unified resources. Most schools lack all kinds ofaudio information and professional guide books. And schools choose teaching materials asthey like and there is no order. The research is far behind that of the dancing class. Onteaching contents, child basic gymnastics teaching content is too uneven in most preschoolnormal schools and the contents are more suitable for adults. Schools have many differencesand the teaching contents have obvious divergence with students’interests and thekindergarten practical uses. The contents are more towards the practical application. Onassessment, the way to evaluate students’performance is still the traditional way of fixedexamination as well as the results of scoring which is lack of process evaluation. The creatingability is omitted and there is no teaching ability evaluation. The test results can not reflectstudents’ real situation.Teachers are familiar with the traditional teaching methods of mainly improving skills,such as the explaining method, demonstration method, integration and disintegration method,circular delivery addition method and corrective action error with the help of law but theyknow little of the modern teaching way which advocates the class activity should take thestudents as the main body and the teachers as the leading factors and the new method aims todevelop the students’innovation and overall capability. Teachers are easily confused in theuse of small group teaching method and group teaching method. On the teaching mode,teachers neglect the emotional rules of students’learning knowledge and students’ learninginitiative and the instruction is not flexible enough.Child basic gymnastics teachers take account for41.3% of the whole PE teachers. Butdue to high content of teaching materials they still can’t meet the demand of teaching. Amongthe teaching team, male teachers seem very few and the age distribution is uneven and thereexist fault risk. Teachers’original professional distribution lack balance which takes aerobicsas the main part and teachers of artistic gymnastics and Competitive gymnastics are so few.The knowledge and ability levels of the teachers of other majors need to be improved. Teachers’ educational background is generally low and most teachers are graduates. Teacherstraining contents mainly give lessons in aerobics, cheerleading and only half of the teachersparticipated in the training. The capital investment is mainly done by schools and scientificresearches on child basic gymnastics seem few.According to the problems the authors puts forward the following recommendations:1)toincrease propaganda, improve the administrative department of education and the schoolleadership’s attention to child basic gymnastics lesson and change the students’ awareness.2)toincrease capital investment, improve the teaching facilities and supporting facilities.3)toadjust course setting, optimize the teaching contents and teaching methods and teachingmodes and at the same time adjust the evaluation methods. 4) to strengthen the building ofteachers’team and introduce talents properly.5) to focus the child basic gymnastics teachers’wisdom and compose uniform pre-school child basic gymnastics teaching materials; 6) toactively organize national kindergarten school’s competition and show on teaching, scientificresearch and business; 7) to regularly organize competitions on basic gymnastics creativityability for teachers and students, the students’exhibition and community show.
