This article is a case study of interactive historical drama "(IHVs) teaching model in thehistory of chemistry teaching. Request the development of new curriculum reform to improvestudents ’scientific literacy, the history of chemistry education is to develop students’ scientificliteracy and effective way, as a high school chemistry teaching content "periodic table" has arich history of chemistry teaching resources, it is not only showing the cyclical changes in thelaw of nature elements, we open the door to exploration and understanding of the mysteries ofnature, and its formation process reflects the scientific spirit of perseverance by the chemist, ifthe combination of knowledge and chemical history of the periodic table make students feelthe great value of history. Therefore, in the periodic table into the chemical history ofinstructional design, and will reflect the educational value of the chemical sciences, todevelop students’ scientific literacy.Interactive Historical Vignettes (IHVs), history of chemistry as a teaching model,students create an experiential learning environment for students to personally participate inthe process of scientific inquiry, the true feelings of the incident environment, withscientistsface-to-face interaction, boring textbooks chemical historical data into a vividmelodrama, and scientists together to share success and joy inthe research work, the commonexperience of the difficult of achievements under simple experimental conditions, into thechemical history of the development process.Clear the basis of the chemical history of the cultivation of students’ scientific literacyand IHV teaching mode content, complete based on the the IHV teaching mode "periodictable" of instructional design and teaching programs in the classes I teach, andthrough aquestionnaire survey on the teaching effectiveness of the analysis and results of the analysisput forward relevant proposals. The results showed that: the history of chemistry educationcan improve students’ learning interest in chemistry, students of the scientific spirit, andenhance understanding of the nature of science, to improve students’ scientific literacy, theability of scientific research and social responsibility; the IHVs teaching mode can bechanged students’ learning , so that conventional teaching more creative play to students’initiative, to make the learning process fun, helping to train the students teamwork and thespirit of scientific exploration.
